It was such an amazing and incredible time being able to perform the Mozart Requiem with members of the Soli Deo Gloria Choir, Pueblo Choral Society, and Colorado State University Pueblo Choir as well! While I accidentally forgot to take photos, we did an amazing second concert in Colorado State University Pueblo's Hoag Hall with nearly 250 voices! (3.15.2026)

I know that myself and others are veryyyy excited and looking forward to our next performance of the Mozart Requiem in NYC at Carnegie Hall! What a once in a lifetime experince! 🎵💕✨️

It's been far too long since I've last posted here! 2025 had some of the highest highs and lowest lows as countless life events happened! I had completed all of my recitals and graduated with my BA from Colorado State University Pueblo, got my first non-music job which I really enjoy, got engaged, got a new puppy, so many things! By the end of this month, me and my partner will have gotten married and moved into our new home, how exciting!

I promise that soon I'll have a handful of my new works composed during 2025 to be published and ready for sale onto my website! (More about new website changes on a later post! 😊)

Wow, this has been one of the busiest semesters I have ever had, but what a ride it has been! I've been to and seen so many amazing performances, not just by my peers but also by other professional groups. I'm so proud to see how everyone has improved and enjoyed every show I could make! I am also so thankful for my amazing friends and fellow musicians, I couldn't imagine performing without them all. Having spent so many long days on campus and catching the sunsets were memorable and blurry memories combined. Working in the music department and helping whenever I can, I couldn't think about doing anything else in the world. Well, aside from applying to graduate schools! (fingers crossed for the best!) I can't wait to see what next semester holds for us!

It would also have the world premiere of my jazz piece called Jazz Combo Mambo, and I couldn't thank everyone who was involved enough for helping put this all together!

Tonight was an amazing performance filled with so many great solos that sounded fantastic!

It's always such a fun time watching friends and colleagues performing live music, and what a great selection of songs they had. There was even a world premiere of a student composition called 'Pueblo Nocturne' by Chad Rosolini, which I rather enjoyed.

I absolutely can't wait for the CSU Pueblo Jazz Ensembles to perform again on December 2nd with a student Jazz Recital opening!

What an amazing performance last night by the @galantrio!

It's been such a hectic few weeks ever since the semester started, but hearing beautiful music from such talented and skilled performers is always inspiring despite it all. To see them perform here at Hoag Hall and to have traveled all the way from Athens, Greece is amazing on its own! All of the works were absolutely fantastic, but I have to admit my favorites were 'Appalachian uprooting...' by my Composition professor Dr. David Volk (just might be a little biased), and the 'Odessa Trio' (2013) by Ofer Ben-Amots. I'd absolutely love to see them perform again in Colorado in the future!

I can't thank everyone enough for going to my Junior Recital, your support and care have been so helpful and is greatly appreciated! The past semester has been so hectic and busy, but everything has been paying off, and we'll be worth the effort. It was great to see so many friends there, and I'm grateful that I got to celebrate it with you all! 💕

Happy Easter! Today, I decided to celebrate by putting myself into solitary confinement to study 😂. The past week was Spring Break, which I mostly spent being busy with personal things and being sick for the second time this month. Thankful it was less intense and much shorter this time!

Unfortunately, I haven't had time to catch up on anything for school or myself. (I foresee many long days and nights in the music department all of April!) I packed myself late lunch today with some snacks to help fuel my catchup work. Luckily, I have my pick of the practice rooms and pianos, which is nice! Time to wrap up my break and get back to the grind! 💕

Had an amazing time seeing everyone playing a jazz session earlier! All of the songs were great, and it was awesome seeing everyone have so much fun and laughing in a low stress environment! It was nice working on some fun little theory sketching in my composition book (albeit falling apart 😅) with a Roy Rogers 💕

I loved hearing Spain, Take Five, and even some Disney thrown into the mix! Even though "In The Mood" will forever be stuck in my head, I can't wait to go see the @5oclock.combo again soon!

I think that today has been the most I've ever composed in one sitting. After having already started on a Wind Ensemble piece that I was planning on reworking the melody and harmonic chord progression, @gabriel_saldana63 said maybe try an orchestral version of it.

After making a new symphonic orchestra score in MuseScore 4, I put the melody that was in the Flute 1 into Violin 1. After hearing those first few notes, I spent over 10 hours overall today composing. I'm so happy and proud of how it's coming together so far, and I can't wait to work on it some more tomorrow! Might as well write as much as I can while the muses still linger!

Today, I'm going to try focusing on composition works and more conducting. It looks like it'll be another late day in the music dept. I decided to wake up early today to work on my score study for my conducting piece. I just finished highlighting everything that I needed to practice a little later today. I'm hoping that I'll be able to bind the score without my handheld hole puncher, so fingers crossed 🤞. If not, I'll just use my extra copy of the score and put it in my spare binder for today. Arthur was very tired and demanded head scratches after I finished the last page 💕

This is one of my favorite moments in the piece. It was so fun creating the texture and repeated ostinatos. The effect really helped build the tension to the big climax moment of the piece.
