The Journey Begins (2025)

The Journey Begins is a full Wind Ensemble piece. This was my last undergraduate composition at Colorado State University Pueblo, meant to expand my skills and portfolio writing for a large ensemble setting and various instrumentation. An adventurous-sounding work, which was a fitting piece to end one chapter of my life with the start of another. This was composed with the intent of having high schoolers in mind, as a song that was not just to be fun but also to include pedagogical ideals within their rehearsals and performances.
